Never a dull moment… Always fresh, always exciting, always creative, The Larks infectious and funky groove style is turning the jazz world upside down. The Larks ever evolving passion for music and knowledge produces a vivid live performance that incorporates over 90 years of combined playing experience, sharing the stage with artists such as Horace Silver, Clark Terry, Nicholas Payton, and Keter Betts to name a few. The Larks inventive take on classics from the worlds of jazz, rock, reggae and funk, as well as their skillfully crafted original compositions, challenge seasoned listeners to reconsider their definitions of modern jazz while capturing new audiences every time out, even prompting some to exclaim: "I don't like jazz, but I like these guys!" Over the last four years The Larks have cultivated a vibrant, compelling, and distinctive sound, which, like jazz itself, will continue to expand and refine while entertaining and elevating the mind, body and spirit.

• Pete Bozick - guitar

Out in front, Pete's talent and creativity make his instrument sing, pulling the audience in together with the group. His diverse style includes influences that range from Pat Metheny to The Grateful Dead.

 
• Jeff Davis - bass

Jeff adds a solid and versatile groove. His playing possesses a Motown funk flavor with the creativity of Weather Report. Jeff can also be heard with Red Letter Day, one of his many projects.

 
• Dean Haemel - drums

As the backbone of the group, Dean kicks a world class beat. From a jazzy Dave Weckl to full-tilt Phil Collins, his influences are many and varied.

 
• Jim Miller - trumpet

A great soloist, Jim's playing is smooth and stylish influenced by Rick Braun and the great Miles Davis. For more on the trumpet check out Jim’s busy schedule.
