Stango Unchained: The Story of a Band

It's a GRAND OPENING!

Join us for some outdoor jams as we help open Planet Fitness of Salisbury. We'll be set up under a tent in the parking lot, serving food, drinks, and signing up people who are ready to get fit! The event starts at 11am and The Larks play at 1pm. That's Saturday, July 12th. See you then!

We will take the stage at the annual Jazz & Blues Bash in Berlin, MD on May 3rd.

Thursday night of jazzfest we return to the world famous Dogfish Head Brewpub. For this show we'll be sporting our new expanded lineup which includes sax man Joe Genovese and keyboardist Jamaar Oney. Our show starts at 10pm and is a convenient opportunity for jazzfest attendees looking to continue the groove later into the evening.

New this year The Larks will be collaborating with long time jazzfest regular Pam Miller who is returning to perform multiple shows again at The Cultured Pearl.  We’ve collaborated with Pam a time or two in the past to great success, even releasing a CD together back in 2008.  Shows begin at 7pm both Friday and Saturday nights.

Finally, The Larks have been invited by local legendary drummer Mike McShane to perform an extended happy hour show at the Delaware Distilling Company on Saturday from 3pm to 6pm. This new Route 1 establishment is a champion of live jazz year round and is sure to be one of the hot spots at this year’s festival. Hope to see you there!

One of our most precious fans...

Larks fans come in all sizes. Here's a sweet girl we met while she was on vacation in Ocean City in June. She danced her little heart out for about two hours straight, we just HAD to give her a free CD. Apparently she's still digging it. Thanks for the love Caitriona!

MSI Summer Deck Party

We had a great time performing last night at the first annual Larks Summer Reunion Deck Party at Market Street Inn in Salisbury. As it turned out, it was the best night of the summer to be outdoors. It was cool with a nice breeze, but the music was definitely HOT! Thank you to everyone that came and and especially to Ella Duma for the pictures.

Pork In The Park

On Saturday April 20th, The Larks played a 90 minute morning set at the 10th annual Pork In The Park National BBQ Cookoff and Festival. This three day affair featured headliner Marshall Tucker Band and has become the largest BBQ competition on the East Coast. The weather was brisk, overcast with a breeze and in the 50's, but the audience was great and the band was hot!

Rehoboth Jazz Festival 2012

It's just one week to go until The Larks return to the site where our most recent live album was recorded at one of the largest music festivals on the Mid-Atlantic coast.

Join us as we reprise that special evening and turn the musical offerings up another notch with a few new originals and covers as well as exciting updated versions of our favorites.

The world famous Dogfish Head Brewpub is the place to be on Thursday night for this year's Rehoboth Jazz Festival. It's the unofficial after-party location for the opening night of jazzfest - so we never know who might show up and sit in.
